CADASTA

Cadasta is a global organization working to make land and resource rights visible, secure and actionable for Indigenous Peoples, local communities and vulnerable populations around the world.

Through a combination of technology, data insights and capacity strengthening, Cadasta works with partners to help communities map and document land, territory and natural resource relationships in ways that support local leadership and long-term stewardship. The organization works alongside grassroots partners, governments and public and private sector actors to transform complex land and climate data into practical, community-driven action.

Cadasta is widely recognized for its expertise in participatory mapping, land governance and geospatial technology, supporting locally led solutions across Africa, Asia and Latin America. From strengthening Indigenous and community land tenure to advancing forest protection and environmental justice, Cadasta’s work helps communities gain the visibility, evidence and tools needed to advocate for their rights and unlock new opportunities.
